Wake Up Your Walls
Italian Village - Chicago, founded in 1927 and operating as the oldest Italian restaurant in Chicago, has special meaning to me. It also has an authentic Italian menu and it must be said that their wine list alone is worth a visit - and another and another. It is actually a compilation of three restaurants - one on each level of this 3-story building. I can vouch not only for their delicious cuisine but also for the "cheers-like" atmosphere of their artsy Vivere bar. What a pleasure it was to commemorate their beautiful sign. Special memories are made here. It is my own from where this painting comes. Perhaps you have a special moment from a special place you'd like to commemorate - contact me via this website to discuss.
